Drug addiction is a common problem in worldwide. It is a major issue in Bangladesh. Drug addiction is now prevalent everywhere in Bangladesh; in the house, streets, in the workplace, parks , slums, markets even in educational institutions both in rural and urban areas. It is very challenging in Bangladesh. Near about 25 lakh people are drug addicts are teenagers and young men of 15 to 30 years of age . Drugs are seperated into two categories _soft drugs and hard drugs. Heroine, Cocaine, ganja , yaba are available in Bangladesh. Students consume drugs due to social pressure, peer groups influence, frustration, depression, curiosity and psychological problem that stimulates them to take drugs. There are many reasons which lead students taking drugs like family problem , parental negligence, parental issues, parent child conflict, isolation, loneliness, lack of emotional support from family and friends, personal growth, mental harassment, rejection of love . It is a threat to the family, school, colleges and society because the abusive behaviour of the drug addict. The drug addict youth drops out from school/ college or university education. The drug addict becomes isolated from the community and neglected from the society.We know student life is the most valuable period in our life. The first and foremost duty of a student is to acquire knowledge. They have to spend most of their time in education. They have to cultivate good manners in his character from an early age . They should learn honesty, truthfulness, punctuality, discipline and other noble virtues . But consuming drugs they are devoiding themselves of right path . They are harming themselves physically and mentally. They are evolving in crimes , destroying future goal and relationships. They are impeding the overall progress of society. There are huge difference between the student who takes drugs and who doesn't take drugs. The student who doesn't take drugs focusing on studies, respecting teacher, parents and elders, utilizing time to gather knowledge, adhering to principles . They are motivated and loved by many people.
2. Impact of indian culture in Bangladesh
Bangladesh is an agricultural and developing country. Meanwhile india is multicultural and developed country. Globalization makes it easier to explore different cultures. It gives Bangladesh an opportunity to know about western culture. Now days people in our country used to follow and adopt western culture. They are very busy in learning and practicing indian culture. Day by day our own culture has been demolished. Indian TV such as star plus, sony , zee bangla is the main way through which the Indian culture is affecting Bangladeshi people and culture. It creates huge impact on our culture. We have our own culture and customs, but our TV channel are not making good quality programmes. This induces us to watch Indian dramas. People in our country have started following Indian culture. They are trying best to copy indian lifestyle, dress, behaviour, movies and music. Even if they follow Indian festivals . Specially in Eid and puja Bangladeshi markets get encircled by the Indian dresses and people were really passionate to buy them. Bangladeshi girls and women are the buyers of those dresses and those dresses are designed according to the outfits of the actresses from the Indian programms early and late, they find the dresses are pretty engaged. Some markers buy those dresses from India and sell them in Bangladesh, others just designed the dresses according to the models. Bangladeshi core designers face the problem with professionalism, but it is a loss for them. It is discouraging to continue working on thing which has no current market. The language conveys culture but Bangladeshi people are learning and practicing Hindi. They are involving themselves watching Hindi shows which have a great influence in our life. Bangladesh has a great history regarding its mother tongue; Bangla . Many people sacrificed their lives for it . But nowadays Bangladeshi people give priority Hindi over Bangla. Once upon a time, Bangladesh was well acquainted with making good movies. Flims like Jibon Theke Neya, Abar tora manush Ho , Aguner poroshmoni and stop genocide were way ahead of Indian Bangla movies. As time passes by , Bangladeshi people now prefer Hindi and Indian Bangla movies. As a result Bangladeshi producers and directors are trying to make movies relating to Hindi, Tamil, Indian Bangla concepts. Because of low budget and unskilled actors they can not succeed. People have tendency to choose the better option. Due to this, our industry is facing loss and in danger zone. They are losing their individuality and identity. People in our country prefer Hindi music at the wedding day.When we have many sweet bengali song. Young woman and children are influenced in Indian traditions, customs and music are getting lost. They can not realize that they are keeping aside their own culture and identity. Our culture is our own identity. Infact we have better taste and good things to offer. We should love our own culture.
3. AI Development in Bangladesh
Bangladesh is embracing Artificial intelligence for the digitalization of the nation. Bangladesh is being transformed into a modern technology based country. Automation and control technology is being applied in various industries. Artificial intelligence, Internet of things, Blockchain etc. have become very popular in Bangladesh. Although late , the impact of these technologies has begun to be felt in different sectors of the country. For the effective implementation of AI , several specific sectors such as services, transportation, education, agriculture, health and the environment have been identified in Bangladesh. Overall in Bangladesh, we see extensive use of AI technologies, for example, ride -sharing, natural language for Bengali, ChatBots, booking hotels , buying air tickets and real time mapping etc. As about 34% of youth are technology - driven in the country now, the successful integration of AI technologies will lead Bangladesh towards a prosperous future. For implementing AI technology, the government of Bangladesh should have to undertake huge preparation.
